Dungeons and Dragons Humblewood Actual Play campaign, episode 9.
Now that Donnie has that silly honeymoon thing out of the way, he can get back to what’s important. Running games! Last time we were in Humblewood, our adventuring party was nearly wiped out by their own confidence and lack of direction. The party left Meadowfen with a mission to get to the shrine in the scorched grove and nary a plan. They walked straight into a grove of living trees and very nearly got wiped out, then stumbled from one fight to the next, desperately seeking a safe place to rest. That’s when something huge started following them. Fearing the worst, the party made for the safety outside the scorched grove when they happened upon an old shed, with an even older occupant, who seemed to be waiting for them.
Tonight, the party is going to jump out of the frying pan…
